Simple Birthday

Hi everyone!
So this birthday card is for the CAS-ual Friday Challenge where the actual challenge is: Simple and clean Birthday cards. So this is my entry.
The cardstock even smells like roses, how cool is that???
I used dies from Sizzix, Quickutz and Spellbinders and the embossing plate of Sizzix. It looks a little bit too empty at the lower corners for my taste. But Greg likes it so I trust him :D ...

Happy Birthday Michele!

Stay creative!

Masculine and anything with ribbon

This time I tried to combine two challenges that are not that easy to combine. Over at Basic Grey there is a challenge "masculine" going on, while at Crafty Ribbons there is "anything goes with ribbon".  I imagined an old pinup girl at my great great grandfathers time.
I used stamps and Paper from Basic Grey, the die from Sizzix, the pinup girl from G45, and the ribbon from my grannys ribbon box. :D
I guess I need to distress the corners a little bit more but I love the result!

Be crafty! Nadine***

Anything but a card challenge at Allsorts

So Gregs friend from france went back to France and we passed such a great time together. We surely enjoyed to show how and where we live :)  My new job is doing A M A Z I N G and is simply inspiring.  Well the last days I was really creative and so I collected a small overview over some cool challenges to come back to the point where I stopped last year. So I did a box for Allsorts challenge. This weeks theme is anything but a card.

I used 15x15 design paper and golden outline stickers. The flower is done with the tutorial that I showed here a while ago. Easy and fast and it just looks wonderful!

Sharing some spring feelings

The spring arrived!!!

~First day in new job   (x) check (tollste Cheffin! ^^)
~Getting prepared for Gregs friend from France tomorrow    (x) check....uhm nearly... :)
~Sunshine     (x) check check check check!!!!!

Greg and me we definitely enjoy a good piece of sun :D  So long so cold. Finally warmer!!!

Last but not least I have another card:

I used Viva Dekor clearstamps for the background and colored the oriental light with markers. I added some structure to the Sentiment in putting clear embossingpulver on, like this there is a slight crackle effect, unfortunately you don't see it that good on the pictures. I love this card, it always remembers me at the time of my childhood when I watched the series of Aladdin in the TV :-D

Happy crafting everyone!

A cup of tea please?

As I am really a fan of tea I always wanted to create a girlie card combined with a tea theme. I used some golden outline stickers that I put on different paper and cut them out, unfortunately the picture doesn't show it that good. It simply looks so cute in your hands! I used the "teatime" clearstamp and traced it with a glitter pen. Perfect for an invitation for your best friend, hmm?

By the way, I would like to feature an artist that we discovered a few months ago. Her name is Lindsey Stirling and most of my american friends know her from Americas got talent. She became quite known here in germany this year and will give some concerts over here in Europe. Yay! Check out her Youtube channel, I can tell you it's worth it!!!

Down under.

Good morning/evening/afternoon everyone!

Sooooo... this time I tried the Quickutz country collection of Australia, isn't the kangoo such a cutie? They are definitely easy to handle and cut quite great. I chosed earth colors, I like the idea of australian deserts, the sun going down and just the smell of hot air in your nose.
I hope you like it! And take a look at the small koala, I used paper that I marbled with grey colors. ;)

Have fun crafting everyone!!!

Finally tried my new old dies...

Last year I bought the country editions of QUICKUTZ but they were still packed as there was always something else to do/ to craft. Finally I tried them and some of them are just amazing!

I decided to do some cards with a city theme and so I started with London, one of Gregs friends lives there and so it was a good thing to begin with.

Challenges:
Stamp and Create- At least one die cut

Wanted: Sun

Since it was suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch a cold winter and spring, I wanted to make a sunny card with yellow and orange. I came up with the idea of a bee but well, in fact, the result doesnt look like  a bee at all :D  But I simply love it. The stamps I used in those cards I did by myself. Just took some foam rubber, cut out some circles with a die or a punch, glue always two together, and glue those on a block styrofoam. I did the same with a sketch of a sewing doll that I've created. Look how great they turned out!!!

Here my yellow I-miss-the-sun card with a non-bee- look :D

And the card where I used my other stamp; I just loooove vintage and couldnt resist to add a little vintage charm to it :)

Happy crafting everyone!!!!

Challenges I take part:

Uhhh so many news....

So much stuff happened here, we renovated nearly the whole flat... thats the reason why i couldnt write anymore. I felt so exhausted....but everything is done now...and i got such an amazing kitchen! I looooove to cook and bake in it! Here's a picture from the first things i baked, my first petit four, they are quite a cute thing huh?!!!  :D

The next thing: I found work!!! I work now for a.......huh what could it beeeeee.....YEAH A CRAFTSTORE. It's called "idee." and I simply love their stores! I'm so lucky because I really really feel comfortable there, of course, how can't I, surrounded by craft stuff and things I absolutely love? It's perfect!

Well then, let's start crafting and have fun!!!
